The setup will be nearly same. Only instead of “lftp” software on VM, you would use stfp server which comes preinstalled in most of linux distributions. (Eg guide: https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-set-up-an-sftp-server-on-linux/)

You will need to give home directory to sftp user created on linux, which can be gcsfuse’s syncing directory.
